General Hospital spoilers are eager to watch how Port Charles’ unluckiest pair, who appear to need assistance in finding common ground, end up.
Although it doesn’t appear that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will be taking a maternity break or perhaps leaving the program permanently, we were concerned about this.
Not yet, at least.
She and Josh Kelly’s character Cody Bell will need some persuasion to see what’s in front of them, but that’s the purpose of friends like Kelly Monaco’s character Sam McCall and Dominic Zamprogna’s character Dante Falconeri.
From the way the daily spoilers look, they’re going to team up to try to get Cody and Sasha on the same page and it should be pretty interesting to see how successful they’ll be since both have their minds made up.
Some tough love
“General Hospital” understands that Cody has all but given up and blamed his failure on being the biggest moron around. We’ve experienced it. Indeed, at some point, we have all done so.
Sam is going to attempt to gently extract his head from his buttocks.
She might be the ideal person to persuade him to give it another go and tell Sasha how he feels, so we think she’ll try to make him realize that the reason he’s so miserable is because he always walks away.
We hope she has luck since she will need it.
Laying it all out
While Sam’s trying to work her magic, Dante will try his hand in convincing Sasha to stay in Port Charles.
We’re curious how he’ll approach her, but he’s smart and kind so we have no doubt he’ll be able to talk to Sasha in a way that she’ll understand what he means while not feeling threatened by it.
This will be another great performance by the actress as she’ll feel like she did something to hurt Cody and express that.
It’ll give Dante a chance to explain it’s about what she’s about to do, and that could be the game changer. While we fully understand why she wants to leave Port Charles, we also think she won’t want to leave Cody behind without being honest with him.
It remains to be seen if Dante can persuade her to visit Cody once more, but it would be awesome if they took a short vacation together to get to know one another and explore Austin.
Alternately, she can swear to revisit him after she’s worked out all the other issues. In any case, the conclusion of the plot will be entertaining.
