Will this stressful moment between Spencer Cassadine and Esme escalate?
General Hospital spoilers for December 6, 2023, brings emotion and tension to the folks of Port Charles starting with Spencer and Esme. You don’t want to miss this episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
While Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) says he now realizes that his attachment to baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay) has been a bit over the top (read about his epiphany here), he still loves his brother a lot. And he feels responsible for him since their messed up dad is missing in action. So unsurprisingly, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Ace moving into their own place is causing him stress and emotional pain.
Justifiably, Spencer has major issues with Esme. It’s good to remember that even though she has no recollection of her messy and destructive past, he does. But he also feels she’s a good mom to Ace. Look for the exes to share a moment of tension. Is all of this still about Esme moving out? Or does something else cause yet another strained interaction to erupt between the two?
Legal Aid
While Spencer deals with Esme, his great aunt Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is proving to be a valuable resource to Finn (Michael Easton) with this malpractice lawsuit. Finn already consulted the Editor-in-Chief of The Invader on his case that could ruin his career. But now she’s providing more legal help to the doctor and his lawyer, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Hmmm…will this lawsuit trigger Alexis to get licensed as a lawyer again? Or at least make the attempt? Just asking.
Jumping from law to order, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) seek out Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to tell her what they’ve recently discovered. If Dante and Jordan are teaming up, they must have a new development in Anna’s (Finola Hughes) case to discuss. Are they getting closer to finding out who’s stalking their friend? And if they are, why are they needing to communicate their findings with Laura?
Potential for Emotional Catharsis
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) knows her son, Jake (Hudson West), has been experiencing a lot of drama and angst lately. He’s super close to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and he has to be confused with what’s going on with her. As for Elizabeth, she’s got a lot on her plate with being the new Head Nurse at the hospital, Finn’s lawsuit, and simply wanting to be there for her kids. Should we expect mom and son to get emotional as they open up to each other?
Finally, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has her hands full with her study buddy Adam (Joshua Benard). His panic attacks are sending him to the ER, and it’s clear his home life is influencing his state of mind. Apparently, his dad’s putting a lot of pressure on his college student son to keep his grades at damn near perfect levels. Josslyn’s been there by his side, so when she finally presses her friend for answers to what’s going on at home, how will the unpredictable teen react?
