Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) excitedly tells Maxie (Kirsten Storms) that Deception is in for “one hell of a quarter” if the success of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) Crimson continues.
However, standing just inside Maxie’s door at Deception, Tracy (Jane Elliot) claims that they were all deceived. Is she speaking the real truth or Tracy’s version of the truth?
When Felicia (Kristina Wagner) talks to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), she tells him it may be time to come clean about their deception. That is, confess their plan to help Maxie out with her finances secretly.
Meanwhile, Drew (Cameron Mathison) singularly focuses on Crimson and Carly. He sounds perplexed that she may not want to celebrate the success of her first issue.
Cut to The Invader‘s newest team — Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Nina (Cynthia Watros). Conflict may potentially erupt when Alexis deduces Nina has already hired someone. And sounds like without her approval!
Finally, it’s a meeting of the minds with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) connecting over an assassin or group of assassins targeting mob men and women. Selina suggests a very upsetting scenario where they need to bring their alliance to an end.
