Stan has announced that Kween Kong, a Logie nominee and runner-up from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2, will compete in the upcoming series RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars. The new international competition will premiere on 16 August on Stan.

Kween Kong will join an elite roster of drag queens from around the globe, including Alyssa Edwards (USA), Athena Sorgelikis (Belgium), Eva Le Queen (Philippines), Gala Varo (Mexico), Kitty Scott-Claus (UK), Miranda Lebrão (Brazil), Nehellenia (Italy), Pythia (Canada), Soa de Muse (France), Tessa Testicle (Germany), and Vanity Vain (Sweden).

The series, which premieres on 16 August, is themed as the ‘Olympics of Drag’, reflecting the rigorous challenges and exceptional skill demanded of its contestants.

This announcement follows the recent success of another Drag Race Down Under alum, Hannah Conda, who was a runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World earlier this year. These accomplishments highlight the competitive edge of Australian and New Zealand queens on the global stage.
