Multiple sources said that the opening of the blockbuster Mission: Impossible 8 was posted on Twitter, causing the platform to immediately block its broadcast.
Sources from The Hollywood Reporter, Cine Dope, and Cosmic Book confirmed that the trailer for the blockbuster Mission: Impossible 8 was recently posted blatantly on social media. The trailer was premiered at the CinemaCon event at the end of November.
Many Twitter users were confused when the entire trailer for part 8 was posted online. The platform immediately disabled the clip and sent a notification to users that the clip “was reported due to copyright issues”.
Mission Impossible 8, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, is the third installment in the blockbuster action series Mission: Impossible, featuring a star-studded cast including Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby, Simon Pegg, etc.
Cosmic Book’s source said the trailer was leaked from an international source, has subtitles, and features many stars including Tom Cruise. Paramount Pictures, the project’s distributor, has yet to release an online trailer for the film. The company also did not comment on the incident when the press mentioned it.
