No, teaming up against each other is not a childish thing, it helps to find the strongest between two players.
Yellowstone has been in the middle of season 5 for several months now.
The producers wrapped up in January and promised that the hiatus would only last until the summer, when the second half of the season will air.
The midseason finale left fans in a difficult situation. The thing is that two main characters were forced to go against each other.
By that we mean the fact that Beth suggested to her father, John Dutton, played brilliantly by Kevin Costner, that they kill Jamie. And Jamie, on his part, told Sarah that they should go out and murder Beth. Interesting, huh?
By including this kind of twisted storyline, the writers couldn’t possibly have thought that they would not have to deal with fans and even cast members teaming up with their favorite character against the other.
And it may come as a surprise, but Beth, played by Kelly Reilly, is not the only one collecting votes.
“Honestly, I know this is gonna blow people’s minds, but I’m a fan of Jamie. The vulnerability that he has, but also the struggles. It always seems like society — like there’s so much against him, but he’s still making his way through,” Mo Brings Plenty, the actor who plays Mo told US Weekly exclusively.
In the show, Mo is pretty much against everything that is connected with Duttons. But in real life he really respects Jamie’s character.
Former Montana Governor Lynelle Perry, played by Wendy Moniz, disagrees. She said that her character was very close to Jamie’s at the beginning of the show. But now she is really confused.
If she had to choose from a fan’s point of view, she said, she would rather be on Team Beth, just because she seems more dangerous.
Another point goes to Jamie by Dawn Olivieri on behalf of her character, Sarah Atwood, because, well, she is his partner.
But we wouldn’t count on that too much, because as Olivieri mentioned in the interview, there is a part of her that still feels like she should be rooting for Beth.
Well, maybe she has a hidden agenda…
