For nine long years, Derrick Levasseur held the “Big Brother” record for lasting the most days in the house without ever being nominated for eviction. The Rhode Island police sergeant ended Season 16 on Day 97 as the ultimate winner, having never set foot on the block. Now, his record has been beaten by an unlikely houseguest from Season 25: Bowie Jane.
This Australian DJ didn’t know much about the game of “Big Brother” before being cast in the longest-ever season in the summer of 2023. However, after winning the most recent Head of Household competition on the November 2 episode, Bowie is now guaranteed to make it to the final day in the house, Day 100, without ever touching the block.
Bowie’s success is due in part to no one ever truly seeing her as a threat, in part to winning three (so far) HOH comps, and in part to lucking into a Final 3 deal with her fellow Mafia members Jag Bains and Matt Klotz. This trio dominated the latter third of the game, as they won all of the HOH and Veto comps and kept each other safe from eviction.
Matt and Bowie both went into this week’s Final 4 having never appeared on the block. However, after winning the most recent Head of Household, Bowie nominated Matt and Felicia Cannon for eviction, ending Matt’s safety reign at 93 total days. That now puts Matt in third place on the all-time list, behind Bowie and Derrick.
Social media user @pickleswbush on X has crunched the numbers, and they have determined that the Top 6 American “Big Brother” players to never touch the block are the following:
- Bowie Jane (Day 100, Season 25)
- Derrick Levasseur (Day 97, Season 16)
- Matt Klotz (Day 93, Season 25)
- Nicole Franzel (Day 90, Season 18)
- Cody Calafiore & Enzo Palumbo (Day 85, Season 22)
