I don’t know what sort of sorcery Angela Murray is working on these Big Brother 26 Houseguests but there’s no denying she’s got some sort of pull going on in that game. And give it a few more hours, but I think we’re going to see something happen again today.
Starting on Sunday morning Angela went to Chelsie with a fabricated story (and I don’t know if Angela even knows if she believes herself or not – but we know it’s not true) that overnight Leah and Quinn had formed an alliance with T’kor, Rubina, and Kimo. Of course this powerful new (reminder: doesn’t exist) alliance must be stopped!
With that seed of paranoia planted in Chelsie’s ear she took it back to Makensy, her current close ally thanks to them holding all the powers this round. Soon enough Makensy was similarly convinced that the only way forward was to break up that doesn’t-actually-exist alliance. Now since Makensy holds that Veto she will have the final decision on how to go about eliminating their real target by taking off one of the current noms: Kimo and Angela.
If Makensy and Chelsie wanted to pull in the trio of T’kor/Rubina/Kimo then they’d save Kimo, right? Terrible idea! (/s) The only way forward here would be to save Angela. Wait, wait, what? Oh yes, there is a strong possibility that’s what’s about to go down today.
If Angela gets saved today with the Veto then it will mark the THIRD time this season that Angela has been saved and ALL of those times will be thanks to someone else using it on her. Angela hasn’t won a single PoV but so far has seen it used on her twice and could be quickly approaching the hat trick mark. I’m stunned.
How is it that Angela keeps getting HGs who aren’t even particularly aligned with her to save her with the Veto? And look at the track record here. Tucker used it on Angela and nearly got himself evicted in the process but an Arena safety got him out. Next up was Leah who saved Angela last week in the hopes of a Jury vote only to be facing the threat of eviction this week or at the very least to likely lose an another ally this round.
I suspect HGs fear the temptation to vote out Angela would weigh too heavily if she remains on the Block against their preferred target, but if anyone is doing it to think they’re building a bridge of trust with Angela then they’ve lost their Big Brother minds. It was just days ago that Leah saved Angela with her Veto just to have Angela set fire to that bridge herself. And here we are looking at a possible repeat the very next week. It’s nuts!
At this point all I can do is grab the popcorn and watch the train wreck ahead.
