Big Brother 26 winner Chelsie Baham revealed that, if she had become the final Head of Household (HOH) of the season, she would’ve kept her promise to Makensy Manbeck and taken her to the final two with her. Chelsie won Part 1 of the final Big Brother 26 HOH competition, while Makensy won Part 2. When they faced off during Part 3, Makensy won, and she brought Chelsie with her to the Final 2 instead of Cam Sullivan-Brown. However, Makensy ended up losing to Chelsie, who was crowned the winner in a unanimous vote by the jury of seven.
Chelsie shared that she would’ve taken Makensy to the end with her if she’d been the final Big Brother 26 HOH.
In a Big Brother Instagram post, Chelsie shared that she would’ve taken Makensy to the end with her if she’d been the final Big Brother 26 HOH. Chelsie said, “If roles were reversed, I would take Makensy to the Final 2 as well. We were gonna have each other’s back regardless. We wanted to see two girls at the end. We accomplished what we wanted to see, and we both left winning and still friends at the end, so I think it was a great outcome.”

What Chelsie Baham Staying Loyal To Makensy Means
Chelsie Would’ve Betrayed Her Ally Cam
If Chelsie had really stayed loyal to Makensy and taken her to the end of Big Brother 26 with her, then she would’ve betrayed her ally, Cam, with whom she’d been in alliances from the very beginning of the game. However, Chelsie and Makensy had discussed that they felt as though they’d carried Cam to the end of the game. Chelsie had five competition wins, while Makensy had eleven, compared with Cam’s one win.
If Chelsie had won Big Brother 26, it wouldn’t have mattered if she took Makensy or Cam with her because she would’ve easily beaten both of them. Winning the final HOH of the season would’ve made Chelsie’s résumé even stronger. She’d already established herself as a social mastermind, controlling Makensy’s HOH reigns. Although it would’ve been much easier for her to beat Cam, Chelsie knew that she could win against Makensy as well.
Our Take On Chelsie & Makensy’s Loyalty To Each Other
Chelsie Had More Power In The Relationship
While it’s admirable that Chelsie and Makensy wanted to stay loyal to each other and bring each other to the end of Big Brother 26, both as strong women and incredible competitors, Chelsie definitely had the power in the relationship. She had to know that, even though Makensy won so many competitions, the jury witnessed her manipulating Makensy into doing her bidding, so that Makensy’s HOHs became Chelsie’s HOHs. Chelsie taking Makensy to the end with her wouldn’t have changed the outcome of her winning.
However, if Makensy had betrayed Chelsie and taken Cam to Final 2 with her, she would’ve definitely won Big Brother 26. Therefore, Makensy’s loyalty to Chelsie, while admirable and full of integrity, wasn’t the best game move. Regardless, it’s nice to hear that Chelsie would’ve remained loyal to Makensy as well, so that Makensy can know that Chelsie was a true friend to her. Chelsie was a fantastic competitor on both the competition and social levels, who set herself up to win Big Brother 26 in any scenario.
