Leah Peters may not have been running the Big Brother house with big moves and blindsides, but she made a lot of social connections with a lot of people in the house. Which is what made it so surprising when one of Leah’s BFFs, Makensy Manbeck, was persuaded by Chelsie Baham to put Leah up on the block as a replacement nominee for eviction. Leah was then unanimously voted out of the house, followed quickly by another one of her BFF’s, Angela Murray.
Why does Leah think Makensy put her up for eviction? Which votes to stay was she hoping to get and didn’t? And what does she have to say about her impending reunion with Quinn Martin in the jury house? We asked the 26-year-old VIP cocktail server from Miami all that and more after her untimely ouster.
You and Makensy were tight ,and yet she put you on the block to be evicted. What do you think the real reason she put you up was?
LEAH PETERS: I think Makensy put me up because she let a lot of people get into her ear and convinced her that I was at some point going to target her in this game, which was never the case. I still love Makensy. There’s no hard feelings, and I really would’ve taken her to the end with me.
You were voted out unanimously. Whose votes were you most disappointed by and why?
I still can’t believe I was voted out unanimously. It’s insane. I think that I’m most disappointed by Chelsie and Kimo’s votes, because I gave them a really good deal prior to leaving that I would’ve kept them safe, and I honestly would’ve honored that. However, there’s no bad blood and I think that they just did what they thought was best for their game.
A lot can change by finale night, but who so far is playing the best game in the house?
I think that Chelsie has a really great chance of going far in the game because nobody suspects her as a threat. She’s very well insulated, very well spoken, and overall knows the game very well. So I would not be surprised at all to see her in the final two chairs at the end.
If you could go back and change one thing about your game, what would it be?
Honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing. I think everything happens the way it’s supposed to, and what’s meant for me will find me. And I don’t think that it’s fair to go back and think of what could have been because anything that I changed could have also resulted in me leaving earlier. So, for that reason, I would not change anything.
You wanted no part of a showmance with Quinn in the Big Brother house. What about in the jury house?
Never say never. I adore Quinn and we have a very great relationship, and I wouldn’t be completely against it, but who knows? Expect the unexpected, I guess.
