Eastwood, 93, is currently filming his latest project, ‘Juror #2,’ in the Hostess City.
Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood is taking in what Savannah has to offer, even when the cameras aren’t rolling.
Eastwood, 93, is currently filming his latest project, ‘Juror #2,’ in the Hostess City.
But earlier this week, we got an idea of what he’s doing with his downtime.
La Scala Ristorante shared a post on Facebook showing a photo featuring the Hollywood icon.
In the post, the restaurant said Eastwood used the business as a film location, but “he loved it so much, he came back to have dinner the following night, and we had a blast!”
“What a sweet, funny man,” the post read.
On Wednesday, film crews were seen working along Drayton Street near Johnson Square, as well as The Fitzroy.
‘Juror #2’ stars Nicholas Hoult of ‘The Menu’ — also filmed on the Georgia coast — as well as Toni Collette and Zoey Deutch.
According to the film’s synopsis on IMDB, ‘Juror #2’ “takes place during a murder trial, when one of the jurors seeks to protect the defendant without putting himself in jeopardy as he progressively realizes he killed the victim in a careless driving accident.”
Eastwood helped put Savannah on the movie-making map with ‘Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil back in 1997.
It was announced back in May that the project would film in Savannah.
