Glue your wigs down and prepare to be gagged, as the Queen of the North seeks to crown the new Queen of the Mother-Pucking World in “Canada vs. the World” season 2.

On June 26 and July 2, respectively, WOW (World of Wonder) Presents released the show’s “Meet the Queens” promo and trailer on their official YouTube channel.

Wrestling is the promo theme this time around, as nine queens stun in their sickening Royal Rumble extravaganza looks.

Recap of the queens

Bam! Meet Alexis Mateo, the Puerto Rican drag performer who placed third on “RuPaul’s Drag Race 3,” fifth and sixth with Yara Sofia—the other half of “Team YarLexis”—on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 1,” and fifth on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 5.”

She’s Cheryl Hole and she’s not threatened! The English drag queen first competed on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 1,” where she finished fourth, and later appeared on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World 1,” where she placed eighth.

Eureka, you found it! The American drag artist went home early on “RuPaul’s Drag Race 9” after suffering an ACL injury due to a dangerous cheerleading challenge.

In the following season, Eureka! joined the finale and became one of two runners-up on “RuPaul’s Drag Race 10.” In her latest appearance, she finished as one of the runners-up again on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6.”

The crystalized Glamazon’s here: it’s Kennedy Davenport! The American queen first appeared on the seventh season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” where she placed fourth after being eliminated. On “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3,” Kennedy ended the competition as a runner-up.

Here to represent France, Tunisian-French drag performer La Kahena competed on the first season of “Drag Race France” and was eliminated first in a lip sync battle with fellow contestant Lova Ladiva.

Meet the androgynous Asian sensation, Le Fil! The British drag artist participated on “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 4,” and was the sixth contestant to sashay away as the seventh placer on that season.

Pucker up, girls! It’s Lemon! The Canadian queen first graced our television screens on the first season of “Canada’s Drag Race,” eventually placing fifth in the competition. On “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World 1,” she took the first chop as the first eliminated queen in that season.

The fiercest “sabotage” queen is in the house, Miss Fiercalicious! The Canadian drag performer fought for the crown with 11 other queens in “Canada’s Drag Race 3,” ending her run as one of four finalists in that season.

She’s serving the body, she’s giving face! Canadian drag artist Tynomi Banks was one of the contestants in the very first season of “Canada’s Drag Race.”

After being on the verge of elimination for three consecutive episodes, Tynomi finally sashayed away on the fourth episode as the ninth placer of the competition.

What to expect?

From shady confessionals to explosive Untucked! episodes, “Drag Race” franchises across the globe are one of—if not the—most prominent producers of drama and entertainment in the industry.

The reality competition has been a reliable source for meme-worthy moments and quotable catchphrases, so it wouldn’t be a mistake to expect “Canada vs. the World 2” to deliver in that department.

Having Alexis Mateo, Eureka!, Kennedy Davenport, Lemon, and Miss Fiercalicious in one cast is truly a recipe for drama. These queens run their mouths whenever they see fit and aren’t afraid to call the bluff of their fellow competitors.

With high stakes in place and intense competition, queens undergo immense pressure, leading to some of the most iconic fights in television history.

Aside from the drama, fans should also anticipate the competition to be as cutthroat as possible, as many of the queens were frontrunners and challenge standouts in their respective seasons. More than that, get ready to be gobsmacked with the queens’ head-turning looks and fashion-forward garments.

Most importantly, with the queens’ return to the runway, prepare to be wowed with their stellar performances, as they seek to RUdeem themselves, and grab a second, third, or even a fourth shot to “Drag Race” victory.

Who will come out on top?

As much as it’s too early to speculate on who will take home the crown, fans can’t help but to predict the potential finalists of the season.

X (formerly Twitter) user @DragDetective shared their top four predictions, which comprise Tynomi Banks, Miss Fiercalicious, Alexis Mateo, and Le Fil. The post garnered quite the engagement however, some fans disagreed with the person’s finalist roster, naming Lemon and Kennedy Davenport as one of their picks.

Given the track record and experience some queens have, it may be obvious which personalities will stick out to the judges and viewers. Still, the race hasn’t started yet, and fans should never disregard the unpredictability of a Vs. The World format.

With the introduction of Snatch Game: The Rusical—combining two of Drag Race’s most classic challenges, Snatch Game and The Rusical—the winner of the competition becomes more and more unforeseeable.

On top of that, this season of “Canada vs. the World” uses the Golden Beaver twist. First introduced in “Canada’s Drag Race 4,” the Golden Beaver is won by the challenge winner of the week to save one of three bottom queens from lip-syncing for their lives.

Now, a conflict arises. Since a Vs. The World version uses the Lip Sync For Your Legacy format—where the top two queens of the week battle to get a chance to eliminate a fellow contestant—it becomes uncertain how eliminations will play out this time around.

Excited to see who will reign as queen of the ring? “Canada’s Drag Race vs. The World” season 2 premieres Friday, July 19 on WOW Presents Plus.
