Fans are speculating that the Vanderpump Rules gal pals may exit the show after they removed it from their Instagram bios. The hit show is currently not filming because Bravo put the show “on pause” after Scandoval.

This article will reveal why fans think Ariana and Katie will clock out of the show for good. Then, we will detail what happened to Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss following the cheating scandal.

How Did Scandoval Impact Vanderpump Rules?
In March 2023, the nation was shocked when Ariana Madix discovered her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was cheating on her with their much younger co-star Rachel Leviss (who went by the name Raquel).

Ariana learned about the affair while attending a concert of his in Los Angeles. As he was performing, his phone fell out of his pocket, she picked it up, opened it and allegedly found a sexually explicit video of Leviss. The lawyer for Leviss alleges the video was screen recorded without her permission. Madix is accused of distributing at least two videos “to others without Leviss’ knowledge or consent.”

Nearly one year after the incident, Rachel Leviss filed a lawsuit accusing Sandoval and Madix of eavesdropping, revenge porn, invasion of privacy and “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

Cameras were picked up to record the fallout at the end of season 10. It included a heated conversation between Ariana and Tom. Rachel also came clean about the timeline of the affair.

Ariana and Katie Take Show Out Of Instagram Bios
After the cheating scandal, Ariana Madix quickly became America’s sweetheart. As months went on, she was flooded with sponsorship deals, got cast as a lead in Broadway’s Chicago and she even received a gig to host Peacock’s Love Island.

But in May 2024, the beloved bartender switched out “Emmy nominated Pump Rules” from her Instagram bio and replaced it with Love Island USA, Something About Her (sandwich shop) and promoted her Single AF cocktail book, which became a New York Times Bestseller.

Her business partner BFF Katie Maloney also took the show out of her bio and now only lists their sandwich shop and her new podcast.

Fans have mixed reactions about them no longer mentioning the show that put them in the spotlight.

“After the way they treated her, I hope she’s done” one fan wrote on Reddit.

“Let’s be real here. Tom cheating was the best thing to ever happen to her. And VPR is the second best thing to happen to her,” another wrote.

Other fans speculated that she just removed the show because she didn’t have enough room in her bio to fit all of her projects.

TheThings.com have reached out to Katie and Ariana’s representatives for comment but have not yet heard back.

Why The Vanderpump Rules Cast Turned On Ariana During The End Of Season 11

Lala Kent accused Ariana of coasting through the series and not being a team player when she walked out of the finale as opposed to having a conversation with her ex, Tom Sandoval.

We’re asking you to have one conversation with Tom Sandoval, you know, the guy you shoved down our throats for so many years, that guy who you still live with, we’re asking you to have one conversation and you can’t do that?

After the finale aired, Schena Shay went on her Scheananigans podcast and said she was more emotional and aggressive toward Ariana because producers on the show allegedly told her the show was not in a good place in the middle of the season.

It was, you know, ‘X, Y and Z needs to happen. Or we’re going to have a short season, and the show’s going to be canceled and that’s it.’

But Schena’s claims were slammed by the show’s creator who said the cast was more “impacted by what was happening on social media” during the season. The producer urged them to “drown out the noise” and denied trying to get the cast to “manufacture” anything.

Bravo Puts Vanderpump On Pause
Usually filming kicks off each summer just in time for Pride celebrations, but in 2024, Bravo announced the hit show was taking a break and going on “pause.”

Page Six reports the cast needed “a moment to decompress after two very rough, intense seasons” following Scandoval.

TheThings.com reached out to Bravo for comment on when season 12 will start filming but they have not yet responded.

What Happened To Tom Sandoval?
Tom Sandoval was ghosted by Rachel Leviss when she left her mental health treatment center in July 2023. He started dating girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson in early 2024.

The reality television bad boy and cover band frontman made it very far in Fox’s Special Forces and, in the summer of 2024 went to Scotland to film season three of The Traitors.

What Happened To Raquel (Rachel) Leviss?
Rachel did not return to season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. She instead went to a mental health facility for two months before launching her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast that recapped the show and gave interested folks an update into her personal life and mental health journey.

In June 2024, she revealed she’s “ready to date” again but has strict rules in place for any man who thinks about entering her life.

I definitely wouldn’t sleep with someone on the third date, especially because I already have a reputation.
