Farmer Wants a Wife may be over for the 2024 season but that doesn’t mean fans haven’t stopped hoping for more happily-ever-afters.
Although audiences have already watched six farmers on their journey towards love, there may be more romance on the horizon after fans spotted two familiar faces hanging out.
Anna Wilson, who was a fan-favourite contestant on the 2024 season and runner-up for Farmer Dustin’s heart was recently spotted alongside Farmer Alex, who starred in the 2020 season of the hit show.
Who is Anna Wilson Dating?
A fan broke the news on Reddit, claiming that they “have it on very, very good authority” that Anna and the farmer were “getting very cosy” last weekend.
“Alex no longer lives on the family farm, and Anna is working in a town that’s a little under two hours drive from him,” they wrote, later claiming that they “run in the same circles” as the farmer.
“The person who I got this information from said that they were very flirtatious. They also said that Anna is a really nice person and has a good sense of humour.”
So is this another success story for the reality franchise? Don’t get your hopes up yet, as the pair have been quick to shut down rumours.
In a statement to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Anna shared that Farmer Alex is “one of [her] brother’s mates”.
“There is absolutely nothing to report on there!” she told the publication.
“I’m definitely not dating Australia’s little golden girl midwife. I went to school with her brother and have known her and her family for years,” Farmer Alex told the publication in a separate statement.
Who is Farmer Alex?
In 2020, during season 10 of Farmer Wants a Wife, Farmer Alex, shocked fans when he dumped crowd favourite Jess Wolf, before going back to runner-up Henrietta Moore in the show’s jaw-dropping finale.
However, he confirmed his split with Henrietta on his Instagram the following October, telling a questioning follower on his Instagram account: “To put you at ease Henrietta and I not together anymore but we remain friends. Sorry for the late reply just had a bit on.”
