“FINALLY, She’s On Her Way”: Drag Race UK Fans React To First Season 6 Teaser

Promo has officially started for the upcoming sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

On 23 August, the official Twitter account for the series released the first teaser for the forthcoming season.

The brief visual shows satellite footage of Earth before it zooms into a city landscape. Of course, the teaser also included RuPaul’s iconic laugh.

“Classified information has been intercepted. Stay tuned, racers. All will be revealed soon,” the caption read.

While the clip doesn’t ruveal which British queens will stomp into the werkroom, or a release date for that matter, it does confirm that season six is coming.

With the last three seasons premiering in September, there’s a big chance that the new entry will sashay onto our screens next month.

Shortly after the teaser was released, fans flocked to social media to share their reactions to the forthcoming season.

One fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “THE WORLD IS HEALING UK IS BACK.”

Another fan tweeted: “I sense the #DragRaceUK S6 promo theme to be centred around James Bond and MI6. Hhm, it’s about time we had a 007 theme.”

Former Drag Race UK stars, like Tayce and Copper Topp, also celebrated the news, with the former commenting: “Heeeeerreee we GOOOOO.”

Copper added: “Come on, S6 let’s get sixening!!!!!!!!”

The fifth season of Drag Race UK aired in September 2023 on BBC Three and WOW Presents Plus to universal critical acclaim.

It introduced fierce competitors such as Ginger Johnson, Michael Marouli, Tomara Thomas, DeDeLicious, Kate Butch, Cara Melle, Vicki Vivacious, Banksie, Miss Naomi Carter, and Alexis Saint-Pete.

After 10 weeks of showstopping challenges and sickening runways, Ginger came out on top – joining The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney, Krystal Versace, and Danny Beard in the Drag Race UK winners circle. Michael and Tomara placed runner-up, with DeDeLicious in fourth place.
