Alexis Davis had a few too many warnings for her daughter.

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, December 13, 2023, features Alexis laying out some hard facts about pregnancy for Kristina.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Joss and Trina tried to help out Adam, Ava realized her stalker was right under her nose, Dante began doubting Anna, and Sonny made a grand gesture. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Mama Knows Best

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) showed up at Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) to announce their surrogacy plans. They were thrilled, excited, and most of all ready. Very ready. More ready than they have ever been for anything in their entire lives. And, even TJ (Tajh Bellow) agreed.

Alexis was happy-ish. Or, at least, she was when Molly was there. However, once Molly was called to work, Alexis unleashed her opinion. To say she wasn’t feeling this was an understatement.

Alexis laid it all out for Kristina. She was proud her daughter wanted to help and was willing to give Molly a family. However, was Kristina prepared for the risks? The hormones? The changes? A baby changes people.

Kristina was adamant she’d thought it through and assured Alexis she educated herself. Eventually, Alexis stopped lecturing and offered her support.

Stalkers And Other Criminals

Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) moved back into her condo, but her peace didn’t last. She opened her purse to find an envelope containing another photo of Austin. This time, the note told her to not tell anyone. She didn’t heed that warning, though.

Ava spilled all the tea to Nina (Cynthia Watros). She also told Nina she was sure it was Nikolas who was playing these games. He was the only person who hated her enough to kill, frame her for murder, and taunt her like this.

Later, after Nina left, Ava found a gun and a note in her desk drawer. This time, the note said, “You never know when you’ll need it.”

Speaking of murders and crimes, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) updated Sam (Kelly Monaco) about his finds — and his concerns. The package from the locker contained the Forsyth file, and unfortunately, it didn’t make Anna (Finola Hughes) look too good. In fact, he wondered if Anna rewrote history in her head.

This led to a very frank discussion about whether or not Dante could even trust Anna. He wanted to. He understood why Anna kept the file, but some of it did not make sense. It was all very mysterious.

He then showed Sam the wallet. Sam snooped and found a set of 21 numbers written on the inside. They wondered what the numbers meant and how it was connected to the WSB report.

At the same time, Brennan (Charles Mesure) ran into Carly (Laura Wright) and Donna (Scarlett Spears) in the park. He wormed his way into accompanying them to get a hot chocolate and back to the park. Donna ran off to play, and Brennan did all he could to butter up Carly.

Gestures And Friendship

Sonny (Maurice Benard) went to the hospital to see Stella (Vernee Watson). He found her in the hall with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and told them both of his holiday plan to bless the hospital and its patients. He offered to bankroll all Christmas cheer!

Felicia was pleased as punch and commented on him being just like Santa — a comment overheard by pediatric patient Lindsey. She set Felicia straight. Then, she wondered if Santa would even find her this year. Yes, he would. The hospital would make sure of it.

As for Stella, she wondered what inspired Sonny to be so giving. He was doing this to honor Mike. His father was one of the most generous people either of them ever knew. What a great way to honor his legacy.

All the while, Joss (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) found Adam (Joshua Benard) playing guitar outside their door. Creepy? No. Impressive? Yes. So much so, they invited him in to play some more. Then, they invited him to Kelly’s. They got to know Adam better and realized his parents didn’t really know him or what he wanted or liked at all.
