According to General Hospital teasers, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was placed on six months of probation. It is highly likely that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will do something that results in Esme receiving a probation violation, which would result in an arrest. According to Ava, she is acting on behalf of Tabyana Ali’s Trina Robinson.
But in order to take care of Ace Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay), it might compel Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to remain in Port Charles.
Esme Prince’s Sentence
GH spoilers reveal that during the week of January 15, Esme pleaded guilty to breaking and entering. Esme made a deal, which led to the judge sentencing her to six months probation.
Esme was warned by Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) not to even think about coming close to a probation violation or she’ll be locked up.
Trina Robinson’s Intel
But Trina accosted Esme after the judge slammed the gavel. Trina wished to inform Esme that the judge sentenced her fairly. Trina stated unequivocally that she will not allow Esme to rule her life, even though she does desire justice.
Trina also told Esme about her semester-long absence from Port Charles. It dawned on Esme then that Spencer was accompanying Trina to Paris. That caused Esme to go into panic mode like a light switch.
Esme started stammering about Spencer abandoning Ace. Esme began overthinking and spiraling. Esme asked Trina, “What about Ace? What about me?”
Trina let Esme know that Spencer is Ace’s brother, not his father. Trina also let Esme know that it doesn’t matter how it will affect her, they will continue to live their lives.
Ava Jerome’s Explosive Rage
General Hospital spoilers reveal that after Esme’s sentence, Ava exploded in rage. Ava might already plan on making Esme suffer.
Ava could easily push Esme into a situation that causes her to commit a probation violation. Ava might think she’s helping Trina by having Esme sent to prison. However, it could backfire in an unexpected way.
Spencer Cassadine’s 180
If Esme gets arrested for a probation violation, that would really upset Spencer. Despite Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) claims, Spencer insists that Esme is a good mother to Ace.
Spencer does have a uniquely close relationship with his little brother as he’s had to be a parent to the little boy since his birth.
If Esme were arrested and unable to take care of Ace for a time, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) would step in. However, Laura is also a busy politician and is wrapped up in other story arcs.
Therefore, Laura might not be available or be out of town when Esme is arrested. Spencer might have to cancel if it occurred just before Trina’s trip. It would be up to Trina to travel alone to Paris.
Maybe Spencer will go there as soon as Ace has a caregiver, but we all know how this ends. After Esme is freed, there will likely be a crisis or circumstance that necessitates Spencer staying in Port Charles for even longer. Weeks pass into months like days do.
An emergency arises, followed by another scenario, and so on. Esme might consider Spencer to have been given a free pass because Trina was absent for an entire semester.
