General Hospital Spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hasn’t had an easy go of things since her memories started to resurface, but no one knows that.
Esme Prince Finds It Hard To Hide Her Feelings Now
She is facing internal struggles, and the only person she can confide in is her evil mother. She also finds it difficult to visit Heather Webber (Alley Mills) at Ferncliff on a regular basis to vent without anyone finding out and becoming suspicious.
As Esme gets more intimate with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she may have more trouble hiding her sentiments about her past and the individuals she feels have wronged her.
The last time she interacted with Trina, she was killing her with kindness and thanking her for getting Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to simmer down about her moving out with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
Trina was hardly reciprocal toward Esme, but she’ll soon question what happened to Esme’s kind nature when she tries to play nice.
Spencer Cassadine Steps Up To The Plate
Spencer won’t skip a beat in stepping up to take care of Ace when he learns that Esme isn’t coming home right now. So much for settling into her new place with him. Esme has yet another new place — in a jail cell.
While Spencer has no romantic feelings toward Esme, he did once upon a time. It’s not outside the realm of possibility that he could develop those feelings again — especially as he has watched Esme take such good care of and prioritize his baby brother.
Trina knows that, and it’s why she’s been uncomfortable with them spending time together the whole time.
Esme Prince’s Bleeding Heart
It will dawn on Esme when she does get out of jail that she’s been doing everything in her power to stifle her own feelings for Spencer — and she’s tired of doing that. Who could be a better father figure for Ace than the very man who has been eager to be a role model for him from the start?
The more that Esme thinks about her feelings for Spencer, the more sense they’re going to make. In a sea of people she hates, he’s the only one that she feels any sense of forgiveness for and remorse for hurting.
Twists And Turns
That kind face and thankful nature Esme was boasting before will disappear quickly the next time she’s forced to engage with Trina. She thought she could put her feelings toward Spencer’s girlfriend behind her.
After all, if she wants everyone to continue thinking she has no memory of her past actions, she must continue this deception. She must keep her recent insights a secret from Spencer, or else he would swiftly turn against her.
