Do Chase and Finn need to worry about their father?

General Hospital spoilers for the Thursday, May 16 episode focus on the second of three episodes devoted to Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase’s much-anticipated wedding.

The Ceremony

After months of stops and starts, the big moment is here. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton — who reveals details of the wedding here) and Chase (Josh Swickard) have gone through a lot to get here. Health scares for both Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) threatened to derail the big day. Ultimately, nothing would stop the couple from pledging their love to each other.

Now, it becomes about the two of them vowing to be there for each other through good times and bad. There is, hopefully, no more need to worry. They know they can survive anything together.

The Officiant

Gregory has also gone through a lot to get here. After all, his ALS diagnosis changed his life forever. But when Brook Lynn and Chase asked him to officiate the wedding, he knew he had to fulfill this important duty. It would be one of the biggest honors of his life.

Teasers suggest Gregory struggles a bit during the ceremony. Will Finn (Michael Easton — who talks about the ALS storyline here) or Tracy (Jane Elliot) help him through this crisis? Or can he draw on his considerable strength and ensure his son gets married to the woman he loves?

The Reception

Once the ceremony concludes, friends and family gather at Port Charles’s famed Metro Court Hotel to celebrate the happy couple.

What kind of drama will unfold at the reception? There are bound to be awkward moments, intense interactions, and volatile situations. How long will the reception remain a happy occasion? Will the joy come to a swift end, or will it be more of a slow burn?
