General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Is Playing Ava Like A Fiddle — Will She Fall For It?

Spoilers for General Hospital reveal Adam Huss’s character Nikolas Cassadine has returned, and Maura West’s character Ava Jerome doesn’t seem overly upset about it. When she told him there was protection outside to keep her safe from him, she matched him foot for foot.

But Nikolas has not returned to harm or torment Ava. On the contrary, he wishes to work with her to obtain what they both desire: retribution against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

They have experience doing it; they may do it once more. Will pursuing retribution be sufficient to unite these two in their shared quest for individual justice?

A Good Game

Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Esme were a package deal and no one knew it. Their plan to dupe Nikolas and Ava by using Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) against them was rather brilliant.

Now that Ryan is gone, they both reason that they might have Esme right where they want her. Little do they know, she remembers a whole lot more than she’s letting on.

Trying to fool her and trap her in the name of revenge isn’t going to work out for long if Ava finds out what Nikolas is really up to — or will it?

Hint Ava Jerome Has A Realization

Although it looks like Esme has turned over a new leaf, Ava couldn’t be any less interested in listening to tall tales of who Esme is today.

She believes the same menace — the spawn of such a horrible man — is still lurking inside of her and waiting for the perfect time to attack. Is she right?

Maybe she wasn’t last week, but it would certainly seem so now. Will Ava be the first to catch onto the fact that Esme does remember her past?

Back To Spoon Island

Although Ava was tired of exploring the castle alone, she thought it could be a good idea to share it with her ex-husband. Naturally, since he is wanted by the PCPD, she would not be allowed to let anyone know that he is there.

Ava may feel the need to return to the island to mend the rifts in their marriage as well as to provide Nikolas with a safe haven in case he needs one. They will be planning Esme’s demise while he is.

How is Ava going to manage this when Nikolas is unable to openly defend his child or confront the mother of his child?
