Are we in for a potential Nina and Carly team-up? Has hell really frozen over?

General Hospital spoilers for the Friday, April 26 episode focus on surprise propositions, painful disagreements, and pleas for help. Oh, and then there’s the doozy of a conversation that goes down between Sonny and Laura.

The Unforgiven

Suddenly, in Port Charles, there’s a contagious belief that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is a frail old man and that he may have done bad things in his life, but he doesn’t deserve any sort of retaliation whatsoever. After all, he is Laura’s (Genie Francis) brother, and despite her only knowing him for roughly two minutes, he has earned her protection.

The mayor, however, has known Sonny (Maurice Benard) for much longer. And she’s known who he is, what he does, and why he does it. But, apparently, Sonny beating up Cyrus was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The brother, mind you, that was responsible for the explosion that killed two people and put her own daughter in a coma she’s never woken up from. Yes, Sonny ordered a hit on Cyrus. The significance here is that he stopped it from happening. None of this sits well with Laura, so she finally tells Sonny she cannot forgive him. Sure, Laura.

Potential All-Star Team-Up?

Nina (2024 Daytime Emmy nominee Cynthia Watros) and Carly (Laura Wright) are two women who have every right to go scorched earth on Sonny Corinthos. However, Nina, who finally signed the divorce papers and took off her wedding ring, is worried. In fact, she’s so concerned about Sonny that she shares those feelings with Carly. How will Carly react? She might take it easy on Nina considering getting her half of the Metro Court back has her in a good mood. Ultimately, can the two have a civil conversation and maybe even team up to see what’s happening with their ex?

Another example of a potential team-up is Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Molly turns to her mom for help. This could be about Kristina (Kate Mansi). Or it could be about Anna (2024 Daytime Emmy nominee Finola Hughes) trying to railroad the ADA into prosecuting Sonny. Basically, Molly wants to recuse herself due to a conflict of interest. But Anna inexplicably won’t let her. Apparently, commissioners of police departments have that power. How will Alexis advise her daughter?

Propositions and Disagreements

Lately, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) has been helping Cody (Josh Kelly) in the stables. That is when she isn’t saving her former Deception coworkers from sheer embarrassment, thanks to Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Does she find her new purpose when she receives a surprising proposition? It’d be great if Nina asked Sasha to work for her at Crimson. But it turns out that Carly asks Sasha if she’d be interested in working at the Metro Court. In what capacity?

Finally, Gregory’s recent medical scare has everyone uneasy, including Finn (Michael Easton). Look for father and son to have a disagreement. Is this about Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) officiating it? Or is this about the man’s stubborn refusal to go to the hospital? Gregory couldn’t breathe, and he couldn’t feel his arms and legs. He had to depend on Violet (Jophielle Love) to help save his life. He needed to go to the hospital. Sorry, Gregory.
