Home And Away Fans Go Wild As Leaked Snap Reveals Secret Filming Location

Eagle-eyed Home and Away fans have spotted something very interesting on social media. Greg Stone, head of the Summer Bay Art Department, posted a snap from a sunny day on set – except viewers aren’t sure exactly where filming was taking place.

The show usually films out at Palm Beach in the Northern Beaches, the caravan park in Kenthurst or in the studio located in Sydney. From time to time, cast head to remote locations for away shoots or secure special one-off places to film. In the past, they’ve even gone so far as Hawaii, for the wedding of Indi Walker (Samara Weaving) and Romeo Smith (Luke Mitchell).

In Greg’s snap, it appears to be some sort of estate, with a fancy building in the background and a large water fountain sitting in front. A script is visible but has been blurred out to avoid spoilers.

“Wonder where they are filming today,” a fan wrote on Facebook.

Seeing as the show usually films approximately five to six months in advance, it’s likely fans won’t see this hit our screens until November or December.

Where is the secret Home and Away filming location?

People started to speculate about where filming was taking place, with one saying: “Looks a little like the Norman Lindsay Gallery but the fountain [isn’t] in that spot.”

“Not Vaucluse House is it?” another asked.

“Is that Milton Park?” a third wondered.

“[It could be] that house they went to, [when] Remi and Eden [created] a song months ago,” another suggested.

“It’s not Remi’s parents’ house is it?” a viewer asked.

One fan even came up with a wild storyline, seemingly out of thin air: “Maybe someone gets mugged and hides the evidence there!”

The fountain is surrounded by hedges, which is similar to Milton Park in Bowral, and the fountain details appear to be the same. However, it’s difficult to confirm if it’s the exact location.

Home and Away’s location crew leave locals fuming

Of course, this isn’t the first time Home and Away have turned up in an unexpected location. Back in 2021, Yass locals were left fuming after the crew took over the regional area.

The crew were filming one of the big cliffhanger storylines and effectively took over the only access road in the area, closing it down between 8.30am and 4pm each day.

“This is not just a minor inconvenience, it’s a massive disruption to our lives,” resident Patrick Sullivan told the Gouldburn Post. “A week of delays on the road into Yass from Wee Jasper, with all-day closure Monday and Tuesday, for a TV crew.

“As a resident dependent on this road I question how Yass Valley Council could approve this and not consult those affected. I found out two days before through my RFS network.”

At the time, a spokesperson said Home and Away was bringing a “very healthy injection of funds” into local businesses, seeing as a cast and crew of around 60 people would be in the area.

“This will include accommodation, meals, equipment hire, location and council fees. Along with donations to a couple of community groups,” they said at the time.
