Things are thrown into complete chaos as everyone rushes to the hospital, terrified and confused about what’s happening to Felicity. When Bree finally emerges, she tells them all that they’ve taken Felicity straight from imaging to surgery: she’s had a brain aneurysm.

Cash asks Bree matter-of-factly if Felicity is going to die from this. Bree tells him that that might be a possibility – or, if she does survive, she could face irreversible brain damage.

Bree returns after a while and informs them that the surgery is done, and Felicity is now in recovery. She takes Cash and Eden to her hospital bed, but warns them gently not to be alarmed by the sight of her.

Cash is confused, but he finds out immediately what Bree means the moment he catches sight of his sister. Felicity is sedated, strapped to the bed and intubated with all kinds of machines and cords hooked to her. Cash is devastated.

In the midst of this grim turn of events, Tane excuses himself and heads for the elevator. There, alone, he slams the elevator walls in anguish. He returns home alone and tells a concerned Mackenzie and Levi that he feels like he doesn’t belong at the hospital with his ex-wife and her friends.

For him, it’s too hard to stand there and watch the woman he still loves like that, all the while not being able to be part of it. With that, a newly determined Tane heads back to the hospital.

Left in the dark, Cash plays the waiting game, when suddenly, things take a turn for the worse. The monitors start blaring and he stands there as the medical team floods in, surrounding Cash in the commotion as Bree gives them panicked orders. Something’s going wrong.

Forced to leave the room, Cash runs into Tane. Overwhelmed and scared for his sister’s life, Cash breaks down. Levi arrives to assist in the situation, and tests Felicity for any signs of flexion. There’s no response.
