Tom Cruise is famous for sending white chocolate coconut bundt cakes to his famous friends during the holidays. Brooke Shields hopes to get back on Tom Cruise’s wish list this holiday season.

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, the actress revealed that she once received the coconut Christmas cake that Cruise coveted.

“I’ve been on the list for a while. I’ve had a good 10-year run and I get coconut cake every year, which I’m very happy [about],” said Shields, who released a two-part documentary on Hulu called Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields on April 3.

Cruise is known for sending a $126 Bundt cake made by Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California, to his famous friends every year. At one point, it was a gift from Cruise, his then-wife Katie Holmes, and their daughter, Suri, before Cruise and Holmes split in 2012, Shields noted.

Brooke Shields said her daughters were “mad” that she didn’t reveal the plot of her new “Pretty Baby” documentary
“It was from them and Suri, so it was the three of them, and then it was no longer Suri and Katie and it was just Tom,” Shields recalled. “Then it was j ust Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped.”

“They invited us to their wedding,” she said of Cruise and Holmes’ 2006 Italian ceremony. “And I was like, ‘Fuck, okay, I’ll go.’ It was incredible.” And they even celebrated their children’s first birthdays together. (Shields’ second daughter, Grier, now 16, and Suri were born at the same hospital on the same day.)

However, she’s not sure “what happened” in recent years that caused her to no longer be called a cake. “I want to go back to that cake list. That was the best cake,” Shields said with a laugh. “Tom, I need to go back to the cake list.” Shields is one of many celebrities who have appreciated Cruise’s famous Christmas confection.

Top Gun: Maverick star Jay Ellis shared that he was the lucky recipient of a cake on an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.

“It’s really like getting a trophy,” Ellis said. “We get cakes every year. It’s always a surprise when you get it because you’re so excited to get it — and you want to make sure you’re still on the gift list.” He went on to tell Hudson how his family had frozen the cake to take on their Christmas vacation in Mexico.
