Everything Jason has done in the last few years has been for Carly, and the April 12, 2024 episode of General Hospital showed him attempting another grand gesture for his best friend.
Making An Offer
While meeting at the warehouse, Jason (Steve Burton) asked Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) if he had enough money to buy back Carly’s (Laura Wright) half of the Metro Court. After Diane assured him he does, he enlisted her to do whatever she had to do to get Nina (Cynthia Watros) to sell him her half.
Diane showed up at Nina’s Crimson office to inform her that she had a client interested in buying, and when she told her the client was Jason, Nina immediately fought her on the offer. But when Diane reminded her how mundane the job is, Nina slowly began changing her mind.
How Will Carly React?
In his conversation with Diane, she told Jason that he would most likely have a harder time convincing Carly to accept than Nina, listing off every person who has already attempted to help her buy back her half of the hotel. Jason simply said, “Don’t worry about Carly… I’ll work it out with her.”
While Diane was negotiating with Nina – who decided that Jason can wait if he really wants to buy her half of the hotel – Jason didn’t even get a chance to tell Carly his plans when she showed up at his office to let him know about her unexpected night with John (Adam Harrington). She assured him she did nothing more than keep an eye on the beaten-up agent, but also questioned whether it was Sonny (Maurice Benard) who had John attacked.
