The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the Yellowstone star at his California estate for a first responders fundraiser.
Yellowstone’s Dutton family might be ranching royalty, but over the weekend series star Kevin Costner spent some time with a couple of real life when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined him at his California estate, Summerland, for a One805 charity fundraiser, benefiting first responders.
Along with other big names like the Sussex’s friend Oprah Winfrey, the couple attended the star-studded event at Costner’s Santa Barbara home for the event, which raised funds to support One805’s mission to provide financial aid and services supporting mental health for first responders. The Sussexes also presented Costner, who is an ambassador for the charity, with an honorary award during the event.
For the occasion, Meghan chose an autumnal ensemble featuring an oversized tweed cape coat by Carolina Herrera, black trousers, Camparimesh pumps by Manolo Blahnik (one of the duchess’s go-to footwear brands), and a pair of Tabayer Oera hoops. She accented the look with two of her staple pieces—her Cartier Love bracelet and Tank watch.
While Costner’s ex-wife, handbag designer Christine Baumgartner, was listed on the charity’s website as a host for the event (as Christine Costner), it’s not currently clear whether she was in attendance or met with the Sussexes. Last week, she and Costner settled their divorce, which Christine had filed for in May of this year, shortly before news broke that the actor would be leaving Yellowstone. “Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings,” they said in a joint statement via a spokesperson. The duo had been married for 18 years.
