Actress Nicole Kidman, 57, boldly revealed the secret to her couple’s long-lasting marriage in a cover story for W magazine, published over the weekend.
“We have a double shower. That’s the key to a successful marriage,” the Oscar winner said. Kidman also noted that having a “separate toilet” in the bathroom also helps.
The Babygirl star added that she often sings in the shower, just like her country singer husband. “I get to hear his new songs forming,” she said.
The Emmy winner and Keith Urban, 57, married in June 2006. The couple have two daughters, Sunday, 16, and Faith, 13.
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise. Together, they adopted daughter Isabella, 32, and son Connor, 29. They divorced in 2001.
When Kidman and Urban celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in 2019, Urban posted an Instagram tribute to their relationship that involved “magic, music, romance, exciting adventures and the constant exploration of pure love”.
Previously, in an interview, Nicole Kidman admitted that filming the sexy scenes for the movie Babygirl left her feeling almost exhausted and had to pause acting while the camera was still rolling.
Officially released in theaters on January 10, 2025, Babygirl received attention from the media and audiences. The American erotic horror film was written, directed and co-produced by Halina Reijn. In the film, Nicole Kidman plays a middle-aged female executive. She falls in love with a young and attractive intern played by Harris Dickinson.
In September 2024, this film brought the “Australian swan” the Best Actress award at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
