His best known character might be all about Philly, but the real Sylvester Stallone spent his recent birthday and the Fourth of July in nearby Nantucket.
The legendary actor turned 77 last Thursday and celebrated both his birthday and the nation’s at a beach house in Monomoy, sharing photos of his festive fun with fans on social media.
But not all the pictures of Sly Stallone in Nantucket were shared by the actor himself.
Seems the Tulsa King star was making like a local and shopping for his own seafood at the Nantucket Seafoods fish market.

Staff say he picked up some swordfish, steamers and even a key lime pie. Then he was kind enough to stick around and take several photos with the market’s staff.
Presumably he headed home from there to cook up his tasty seafood and enjoy more authentic New England vacation vibes.
Yet leave it to Sylvester Stallone to find some amazing Italian food while out on Nantucket too.
Sources say he was spotted dining at Ventuno Restaurant during his trip as well.
Sly shouldn’t do too much carbo loading however. Though he just turned 77, his acting career isn’t slowing down at all. Stallone has inked deals to star in both a ‘Cliffhanger’ reboot and the spy thriller ‘Never Too Old To Die’ at some point this year, so he’ll have to be camera ready soon we’re sure.
