Amid the news that the Yellowstone star is starting his own coffee company, Cole is watching his son Ryland head off to college. In a series of photos uploaded on Cole’s wife’s Instagram, the Cole and Cynthia Daniel showcased the moments leading up to Ryland starting his freshman year at college. Between posing for selfies, Cole setting up Ryland’s dorm room and hugs with the couple’s younger kids Colt and Steely Rose, Cynthia got sentimental about the new phase occurring for their family.

“And just like that my baby boy is starting his life,” she emotionally wrote on August 17. “Dad and I are so proud of you Ryland!! We know you’ll touch so many lives! Thank you for being open to learning from us, sharing your enormous heart, and making Steely and Colt feel so special. We’ll miss you very much honey.”

Cynthia wasn’t the only one stirred by Ryland’s first steps into adulthood. Shortly after she posted about the big moving day, Cole replied with his own touching words. “Have the time of your life son! [You] deserve it.”

What’s more, Ryland gave the love back to his parents. “Love you Mom and Dad, going to miss y’all!” he responded. “Thank you for all you’ve done for me ❤️.”

Upon seeing Cole and Cynthia’s major life update, fans immediately swarmed the couple with best wishes for Ryland. “The world [is] in the palm of his hand! Have a wonderful year!” one person wrote on Instagram. “Oh this brings up all the emotions! I am so excited for him! Going to be a great year but I know how [you’re] feeling. 😢,” another added. “Congratulations! He’s going to do great! 👏,” a different follower chimed in.

As fans may be aware, Ryland graduated from high school back in May and received a football scholarship to play in college. If this is the excitement Cole and his family are giving to this milestone, we can only imagine how proud they’ll be at Ryland’s first game.
