Yellowstone’s Kelsey Asbille looked glamorous at her first-ever Met Gala last night. The actress, best known or playing Monica Dutton (née Long) on the hit show, wore custom Prabal Gurung and Ana Khouri jewelry to the event. She finished the look with Manolo Blahnik shoes.

The red-hot look, which Gurung described as a “scarlet taroni silk duchess satin off the shoulder sculptural mini dress with silk tulle train and hand-made rosette” was refreshing on a carpet that was dominated by neutral tones and black and white gowns.

Ahead of walking the carpet, Asbille posed for photos with Gurung and other celebrities who wore his eponymous label: Quinta Brunson, Quannah Chasinghorse, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, and Alia Bhatt.

Asbille’s appearance comes amidst drama surrounding the future of Yellowstone—it’s currently unclear whether or not the show will return as scheduled this summer. In season five, Asbille’s character faces immense tragedy as she gets in a car crash on the way to the hospital after going into early labor.

“It’s such a tragic loss and you really see Monica at her rock bottom,” Asbille told The Hollywood Reporter. “Throughout the show, she just wants to be a good mother, a good wife. A good person to her community, as well. And this really shakes her beliefs with all of that. There’s a very definitive moment where she does choose life and she chooses to heal.”

She also said, “I think we’re moving towards the end” of the story of the show. “With all of Taylor [Sheridan]’s work embedded in the Western genre, he really uses the genre to talk about issues that matter. It’s very subversive in that way. Whether that’s land politics or Native issues, I think that’s kind of the beauty of Yellowstone as well.”
