The Beth Dutton star recently ditched the mountains of Monata as the Yellowstone actor joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video’s new French-speaking drama, Salade grecque.
As they wait for the second part of season five of Paramount Network’s record-breaking drama Yellowstone, fans can still get their fix of Kelly Reilly in an all-new role.
The actor behind Beth Dutton stars as Wendy in Amazon Prime’s Salade grecque, otherwise known as Greek Salad.
The series is directed by the likes of Lola Doillon, Antoine Garceau and Cédric Klapisch and it turns out Reilly has a long history with the latter.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Reilly penned a sweet post dedicated to Klapisch, revealing the pair first worked together two decades ago.
Alongside a selfie of the two, Reilly penned to her 716k followers: “20 years ago I got to work on a film called L’auberge Espagnole.
“5 years later we all returned for Les Poupees Russes. 10 years ago for Casse tete Chinois.
“Last year we came back for Salad Grecque just out on Amazon Prime.
“How wonderful to work with you @cedklap over all these years,” she continued. “And to the actors I have been getting older with, what a total joy it’s been!”
She continued: “@romainduris Cecile de France and @iamkevbish. Now we hand it over to the kids, they are luminous @megan.northam @aliocha.s.”
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for Reilly’s followers to weigh in with their own reactions to the sweet reunion.
Reily’s Yellowstone co-star Ian Bohen, who’ll be back in part two of season five as Ryan, simply replied: “Bravo.”
While Aran Goyoaga commented: “I loved it so much and I remember you in it!”
Elsewhere, fan @heirtothedemon15 replied: “This gives me some things to watch while I wait for Yellowstone.”
And @trueteacher complimented: “So glad to see you’re adding these gems to your repertoire. I was hooked when I saw your Broadway performance of Old Times.”
While @alexxfriedman echoed: “Congratulations, Kelly. What an amazing full circle story.”
Reilly appears in three episodes of Greek Salad which is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video now, while Klapisch also tried his hand at acting in the show as the director on the end of a phone in a brief cameo.
However, the future of Yellowstone remains somewhat uncertain as a release date for season five’s return remains unknown amid ongoing reports of lead star Kevin Costner eyeing an exit from the series.
