Clint Eastwood is one of the most infamous womanizers in all of Hollywood. Irrespective of his net worth being more than $375M, the actor-turned-director-producer has left a bloody trail of infamous affairs.

Recently getting into the spotlight once again for his romantic life, Eastwood is said to have ‘nearly disowned’ his 31-year-old marriage with Maggie Johnson, calling for an ‘open marriage’.

Clint Eastwood Claimed He and Maggie Johnson ‘Don’t Believe in Togetherness’

Clint Eastwood, apart from being renowned for his works as an actor and a director, became quite infamous as a womanizer. The now 93-year-old actor is said to have first met Margaret aka Maggie Johnson in 1953, on a blind date. Almost immediately hitting it off, the duo got married just six months after their first meet.

As the couple went ahead to have two children, it didn’t take long for Eastwood to stray from Johnson, getting into an affair with a woman from Seattle. Certain reports also alleged that the actor got the other woman pregnant and that this child was later on put up for adoption.

However, this wasn’t enough to stop Clint Eastwood and bring him back to track. Nearly a decade after his marriage with Maggie Johnson, the actor once again was caught in an affair with Roxanne Tunis, a steady stuntwoman on the sets of Rawhide (1959), an American Western series.

When Eastwood’s affair with Tunis became public, several questions were raised regarding his and Johnson’s marriage, to which he responded,

“We don’t believe in togetherness.”

After his statement, even Rawhide guest star, actress Barbara Eden did not stay back from commenting on the duo, saying that they conducted a ‘somewhat open marriage’, almost affirming Eastwood’s statement along with his notorious obsession with ‘women’.

While this was only the infamous actor’s response, however, after briefly separating, Maggie Johnson officially got divorce from Clint Eastwood in the year 1984, more than three decades or 31 years later.

Clint Eastwood’s Affair with Roxanne Tunis

Reports state that both Eastwood and Tunis immediately ‘hit it off’ after their first encounter in 1964. Their infamous yet passionate affair was kept hidden, even years after Tunis gave birth to who would be Eastwood’s first legal heiress, Kimber Eastwood.

While rumors have it that this affair was hidden, however, reports claim that almost everyone on the sets of Rawhide knew about Eastwood’s unprofessional affair. An article published in 1989 even alleged that Maggie Johnson knew about her then-husband’s affair and that she had even met Tunis on the sets of Breezy in the year 1972, a year after Clint Eastwood’s statement on his marriage with Johnson.

As for the child, no one truly knows if Johnson knew about her or not but at the same time it would’ve been ‘nearly impossible’ for her to not know about the child, judging how everyone on the sets already knew.

Clint Eastwood’s affair with Roxanne Tunis went for a whopping 14 years, after which the duo parted ways. However, it is also said that Eastwood had been in more than just a few relationships throughout his life – both casual and serious – and also has more than 8 eight known children from six different women – affirming his title of being a ‘womanizer’.
