Vanderpump Rules’ Ally Lewber opened up about her future with James Kennedy in an interview with The Daily Dish.

James Kennedy and Ally Lewber have been forced to have some difficult conversations about their future on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, but the two ended in a good place on the finale. Where does their relationship stand today, though?

Ally answered this exact question and elaborated about a few of the issues she and James encountered in the past during a recent interview with The Daily Dish.

Does Ally Lewber want to get married to James Kennedy?

“I’ve known from the beginning when I first met James that he really did want a family, to have children, and to get married. And those are things that he really values,” Ally explained. “I feel differently, but I do see myself having kids one day. But I feel like we’re both just so busy and I’m just so happy with where we’re at.”

Put simply, “I’m more of a slow person,” Ally said. “I take it day by day where, you know, James is very quick with it. I’m like, we have forever. We have all the time in the world. And I just want us to enjoy this chapter where we’re at now ’cause we’re so happy.”

At the same time, Ally clarified that she’d be understanding if James wanted to be more proactive and create a “timeline” for things like getting married and having kids — even if it meant he moved on without her.

As she put it, “I’m just not there yet in life and James does know that, and so, we’ve talked about it and he knows and he’s happy to wait as long as he will. [But] he shouldn’t wait forever because I know that is something that’s really important to him.”

Does James Kennedy want to propose to Ally Lewber?

James shared his own perspective about their relationship on the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 finale.

“When I was a teenager, looking back, I definitely had my life kind of mapped out in front of me,” he began in a confessional interview. “You’re gonna meet the love of your life at 24, you guys are gonna fall madly in love, you’re married at 26, babies are coming out at 28 — my dad had me at 28; just kind of following in my dad’s footsteps and stuff.”

“I wouldn’t change anything because it’s led me to where I am today,” James concluded. “I love Ally more than anything. And I would tell a younger James, ‘You’re gonna go through a lot of sh-t before you find someone who truly makes you happy.'”
