Drag Race: Roxxxy Andrews Just Brought The Drama On All Stars 9

This week’s episode of Drag Race All Stars 9 dialled up the drama, and we are gagging.

Following Vanessa Vanjie and Roxxxy Andrews’ impressive double win last week, the queens returned to the werkroom to kiki about the runway and their iconic lip-sync to Janet Jackson’s ‘Black Cat.’

While the conversation started on a positive note, the energy took an awkward turn when Angeria Paris Van Michaels – who got cut for a second time – rejoined the other contestants.

“If I’m being honest, this one actually does sting a lot. I feel like, ‘Damn girl, like, everybody, just gonna cut me every week,” she admitted to the other queens.

In response, Roxxxy promised that their decision to cut her wasn’t personal.

“It was just like an eye for an eye for me. But because it was a tie, I looked at Vanjie, I said, ‘What do you want to do? Because we only get one,’” she added.

Vanjie echoed similar sentiments: “For me, it’s like a cop-out. She snipped you. Let’s snip her. That way, it’s like almost like an excuse.”

Despite the pair assuring Angeria that no personal feelings were involved, the latter didn’t believe their explanations.

“Bitch, bullshit. I don’t buy it. There’s a lot of explanation being handed out. But what it all sounds like to me is, let me cut you so I don’t have to cut my friend,” Angeria said in a confessional.

“The girls are definitely playing a game bitch, and it’s working out in their favour. But guess what? I can play this game too.”

Towards the end of the conversation, Roxxxy called out Angeria for swerving her on the runway at the end of last week’s episode, stating that it hurt feelings.

“I just don’t like that kind of stuff. But I understand where you’re at, and I still love you, girl,” she added.

The energy in the room got even messier when Shannel aired out her grievances with Gottmik for insinuating she was in an alliance with Nina West.

“I would be lying if I said that that did not hurt because that never happened. And that never will happen,” the Drag Race season one queen said.

Nina added: “Tonight, I was vocally cheering on both of you and saying, ‘Go, queens because I didn’t want there to be any miscommunication or misconstruing.”

In response, Gottmik said she didn’t care who they cheered on before admitting that she heard whispers of their aforementioned alliance from someone else.

After some prodding, Roxxxy was revealed as the mysterious source of the Shannel-Nina rumour, which spread after she talked to Vanjie.

“I was like, ‘Do you think that this is a possibility?’” Roxxxy explained, resulting in Vanjie relaying the speculation to Gottmik.

The next day, the queens returned to the workroom to meet with RuPaul, who treated them to a surprise appearance from the iconic Teletubbies: Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po.

Following their funky soul train-inspired mini-challenge, which saw Gottmik win $2,500 for Trans Life, Mama Ru announced the fifth maxi-challenge of the season.

“All Stars, do you know what drag queens and real estate agents have in common? They could use their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to sell anything, and I do mean anything,” she teased.

“And now it’s time for you to bring the realness to real estate. For this week’s All Star Challenge, working in pairs, you need to drag up real estate commercials for some of the most unique properties on earth.”

Ru then gifted Angeria the ability to choose her partner and assign the pairs due to her being cut twice.

After selecting Vanjie as her partner, Angeria paired up Jorgeous and Gottmik, Shannel and Nina, and Roxxxy and Plastique.

With their teams selected, Ru revealed the four markets she wanted the queens to “bust wide open”: Frosty Bits, Alaska, Gator Glades, Florida, Tumbleweed, Texas, and Salem, Massachusetts.

Before leaving the workroom, the beloved host said that the ladies would be shooting their media packages with the help of Carson Kressley and Million Dollar Listing LA star Tracy Tutor.

With their tasks assigned, the queens wasted no time choosing their real estate locations.

Fortunately, there were no drawn-out fights during the selection process, with Jorgeous and Gottmik doing Frosty Bits, Angeria and Vanjie taking on Gator Glades, Nina and Shannel selecting Salem and Roxxxy and Plastique grabbing Tumbleweed.

During the brainstorming process, Jorgeous and Gottmik struggled to bring their comedic ideas to life.

On the other side of the werkroom, Team Vangeria and Team Roxxxtique hit a massive roadblock when they realised they had the same hillbilly concept.

“I’m freaking out because if you’re doing the same character as somebody else and they do exceptionally well, it’s only gonna kind of make yours look worse,” Angeria said in a confessional.

After getting into character, the queens headed to the studio with Carson and Tracy to film their respective commercials.

While most of the queens delivered hilarious moments, Shannel, Plastique and Jorgeous struggled to land their lines.

The next day, the ladies returned to the workroom to prepare for their commercial presentations.

However, before heading out, things got a little heated between Vanjie and Roxxxy, who argued about the true Floridian accent and their sketches’ similar country themes.

“I’m from Saint Cloud, Florida. There is country, redneck, trailer park. I don’t even know why they even talking about Florida. Didn’t they do Texas,” Vanjie exclaimed.

Roxxxy responded: “Girl, one week without her being on my team. She’s against me.”

Towards the end of their spat, the Drag Race season nine alum clarified that she was just talking about Florida and not Vanjie’s team, adding, “I’m not here to do that shit. And you should know better.”

With their faces beat and hair secured, the queens delivered their fierce Day to Night ensembles before presenting their real estate commercials.

During the judges’ critiques, each team received heaps of praise for their respective runway looks and performances.

Ultimately, Ru selected Plastique and Roxxxy as the top two All Stars of the week, who then performed a lip-sync to Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Freaky Girl.’

After delivering a high-energy performance full of dips, floor choreography, and drama, Roxxxy was named the winner and given the responsibility of cutting off another queen.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t easy for the Florida-based talent, who shockingly selected Angeria before bursting into tears and choosing Gottmik.

Next week on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9, the queens will be tasked with roasting each other at the National Drag Convention.
