Report on spoilers for General Hospital Sofia Mattsson’s character Sasha Gilmore Corbin is still very much alive and well. It seems unlikely that her plans to leave Port Charles will come to pass given the lack of official word that she is quitting the program. Perhaps something that Dominic Zamprogna’s character, Dante Falconeri, said truly resonated with her.
Since Sasha is staying put, she will have plenty of time to assist Cody in overcoming his past traumas while she heals from her own, beginning with pressuring him to tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) the truth. Will Cody have the courage to introduce himself to Mac as his son?
We can’t imagine a world in which Mac wouldn’t forgive him, but stranger things have happened, and his family might not be as forgiving — or trustworthy. It’s a good thing Sasha will be there to hold his hand through this.
Sasha Gilmore Corbin Strikes A Nerve
With all of his heart, Cody wanted Sasha to stay in Port Charles. Some could even argue that he was almost angry with her for her decision to depart. When everything feels so unfinished, how could she just declare it over and leave town?
Cody isn’t exactly going to take a chance on her at this point, knowing he’s probably the only one who feels the same way. However, he will be overjoyed if Sasha chooses to remain in the city. Having said that, he won’t anticipate the extent to which she will fight for him to mend his connection with his father.
Say Loose Lips Sink Ships
Rumor has it Sasha might be well-intentioned when she lets slip to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that Cody is actually her stepbrother. No one will see that coming — least of all the Maxonista.
She’s going to be rather busy holding things together at Deception and trying to get her kids settled into their new home.
So when Sasha floors her with this information, she’s not going to appreciate being sworn to secrecy against her own family.
Mac means the world to her. She might not run to him, but we can’t expect she’s going to corner Cody about what he’s done — and that’s going to leave his friendship with Sasha in a very precarious place.
Under Pressure
Cody will have to tell his beloved old dad the truth on someone else’s terms because of Maxie’s pressure and perhaps an ultimatum. Though, to be honest, it’s doubtful that Cody will ever disclose the truth if he isn’t forced into it. That’s not what he wanted.
However, there’s a strong possibility that he will continue to be enraged with Sasha about this, which could ultimately postpone the hook-up that we all know is coming but that Sasha isn’t quite ready for just yet.
