General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has been playing with fire when she was messing with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family and friends. Sonny doesn’t take kindly to his family and friends being taken advantage of, threatened or harassed and he’ll strike back hard over this most recent mess!
Selina Wu Added To Sasha Gilmore’s Woes
Despite not having any direct interactions with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Selina undoubtedly added to her problems by luring Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) into her high-stakes poker game.
You can bet Selina didn’t because she makes a lot of money off of gambling addicts, but a respectable casino would at least have some signs up with phone numbers for Gambler’s Anonymous.
The issue is that, when their winning streaks, if any, do end, addicts frequently don’t know when to stop and rack up huge gambling debts.
Gladys experienced exactly that, and as a result, she dug herself deeper and deeper into a hole. After Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was assassinated, she took over as Sasha’s financial guardian.
The temptation was too much when Selina gave her an invitation to join her poker game, and the first loss to Sasha was Brando’s garage, which she wanted to keep.
Now She’s After The Ashfords And The Savoy
Sonny isn’t particularly close with the Ashfords, but when Selina pestered him for help getting them to sell the Savoy, he wanted them left alone.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is a good friend of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) and he’s been friendly with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) not to mention Sonny’s guilt for Curtis being shot.
Sonny knew the bullet could have been meant for him as well as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and ricocheted and paralyzed Curtis from the waist down for life.
So when it gets back to Sonny that Selina is harassing Curtis and Marshall, he’s not going to be happy, and when Sonny’s not happy, nobody’s happy!
Selina Wu Is Warned-Sonny Corinthos Not Going Away
Selina was already cautioned by Sonny about her behavior toward his friends and family, and she should keep in mind that he is not simply leaving! Since he received a matchbook from a pub she runs, their alliance has been at best shaky, and he has accused her of being responsible for the sniper at the warehouse.
If Sonny doesn’t like it and she teams up with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) or perhaps Pikeman, a “family” feud might escalate into a full-fledged mob war!
To teach Selina a lesson, Sonny is capable of and willing to retaliate violently. He’s not letting her get away with anything, so just because he took some time away from the mafia doesn’t mean he’s become softer or more forgiving.
