General Hospital spoilers suggests that even though Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) did not really intend to start her plan into motion, she really is in that position right now. Will she be able to solve the mystery before she loses her life?
Being Tormented
Shots were fired across the Metro Court pool courtyard a few weeks ago. Although no one was shot dead, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was struck in the spine by a ricocheting bullet. They were frantically trying to determine who the intended victim was. The assassin’s target was who?
Anna Devane and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) were both thought to be potential targets. Each of them has numerous opponents. However, more research revealed that the firearm discovered at the vacant apartment across the street belonged to the WSB. Anna had previously worked for this security office.
Additionally, Anna’s house had been tagged shortly before the shooting. Someone had spray painted “Murderer” on her front door. This seems to support the idea that Anna was the intended target.
Now, there is even more. Anna’s townhome was subjected to arson, and she lost everything. Thankfully she was out running at the time and no one else was home, but the person or persons who are after her are slowly tearing her life apart.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Plan
Anna had a plan that she told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny Corinthos about. She thought that she would set herself up as the bait to catch this would-be killer. Dante wasn’t really comfortable with the idea and tried to talk her out of it. When she didn’t seem willing to be deterred, he said that he wanted to help her.
While they haven’t purposefully set a plan in motion, it seems that Anna is in that position of “bait” right now. She has seen several indications that her lover, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is not to be trusted. Ann has found evidence that he has a connection to Pikeman and Dante has found evidence that he is lying to her.
She is aware that she is in danger and that he is somehow connected to her predicament. Being in the company of a potential murderer is not the same as having them share your bed. It’s really up to Anna to keep an eye on her and figure out Valentin’s plans without telling him about her suspicions.
How do you feel? If Valentin is responsible, what is his motivation? Can Anna stop him and avoid getting hurt in the process?
