Darren has decided to get a vasectomy, but Nancy fears he’s doing it impulsively due to the harsh words he recently received from Frankie. Nancy reassures him that he’s a brilliant dad and encourages him to be there for Frankie, so he cancels the surgery.
Later, Darren approaches Frankie after finding an empty emergency contraception packet. When he sees her in distress, he asks if it was consensual.
Shortly afterwards, Darren has to be held back by Freddie as he accuses Lucas of assaulting his daughter.
Meanwhile, Tony tells Ro that he has signed up for the village Pride committee. This decision is berated by Carter, who’s listening in. Ro confides in Kitty about Carter’s recent misgendering, so Kitty confronts him.
Later, Carter’s objectives with Ro become clear. At the same time, Kitty looks like she has seen a ghost when she spots Declan.
Elsewhere, Scott and Misbah are suspicious of Donny’s intentions after finding out his plans to move to the village permanently and reconnect with Vicky and Andre.
Also today, Freddie keeps his fling with Kitty a secret from Lizzie.
