Home and Away fans in the UK will find out that Harper Matherson’s one-night stand with Tane Parata resulted in an unplanned pregnancy.
In upcoming scenes, Harper is hesitant to share the news with Tane as he’s focused on newcomer Perri. Tane is looking into schooling options for the teen and Harper suggests him to talk to Perri before making any decision.
Reflecting on his history with Carl, Tane says that some people just don’t deserve to be parents. The comment hurts Harper, who still hasn’t found the right way to tell Tane she’s pregnant.
After overhearing Theo Poulos venting about the burden of keeping secrets, Harper resolves to tell Tane but finds it hard to keep his mind off Perri.
He admits the teen is everything he’s been thinking about. Harper makes an exit but before Tane can quiz her about her real intentions, she faints.
When she comes round, Harper’s sister Dana gets her to admit why she hasn’t told Tane yet. Harper explains that she’s aware Tane wants to be a dad so badly and she’s scared that, once he knows about the pregnancy, she won’t be able to make a decision for herself.
Dana understands her doubts and assures her that her secret is safe with her.
Later on, Perri announces he’s moving in with Tane for good. They have dinner with Harper, with the teen realising there’s a spark between her and Tane.
