His starring role in Paramount+’s Tulsa King has already captivated fans everywhere, pulling in a viewership of more than 3.7 million people (!!!) for its premiere. After shattering records, Paramount Network announced that it was already giving Tulsa King the green light for season 2.
Tulsa King is just one of the many Taylor Sheridan series to become an instant hit. It debuted right after the season 5 premiere of Sheridan’s Yellowstone, easily drawing in longtime fans of the neo-Western show.
When we first heard that Stallone would be starring in a new mob series from Sheridan, we knew we were in for something good. For those who haven’t caught the premiere yet, here’s what you should know. Tulsa King centers around Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), the tough as nails leader of a New York mafia family. The first episode follows Manfredi as he is released from prison after serving a 25-year sentence. As he attempts to reunite with his crew in the streets of New York, his boss surprises him by sending him to Tulsa, Oklahoma instead. Why, exactly? It seems we’ll have to stick around to find out. After Manfredi grows suspicious of his boss, he decides to start over in his new city, and build criminal empire from the ground up. But finding qualified members is proving to be more difficult than he expected.
We don’t have much information on season 2 of Tulsa King yet— but here’s everything we know so far and what we think we can expect.

News of the show’s renewal was made public on November 30, 2022.
“Tulsa King scored as the #1 new series of the year, topping all others including the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel ‘House of the Dragon,’ with its preview on Paramount Network, and on Paramount+,” said Chris McCarthy, the President and CEO of Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios. “It shattered records, driving us to our biggest new sign-up day in history – which is why we instantly greenlit season two.”
When will season 2 of ‘Tulsa King’ premiere?
It’s hard to say. Season 1 hasn’t even finished airing yet! We do know that the current season has 10 episodes, with the first one airing November 13 on Paramount+ and November 20 on Paramount Network. So, we can hope that season 2 will premiere in 2023—but we’re not sure if that’s likely.
