The story is about a man named Dwight, nicknamed “The General,” who’s a big shot in the New York Mafia. He just got out of prison after serving a crazy long 25-year sentence.
As he comes out, his boss sends him to Tulsa Oklahoma to set up their criminal operations. The thing is, Dwight doesn’t know anyone in Tulsa, so he’s on the hunt for a new crew to help him build his empire in that city. Sylvester Stallone is on fire with this series, totally owning his character and having a blast.
The man has got this intense vibe going on, and he’s nailing the mix of action and humor which is satisfying to watch. Stallone plays an old gangster trying to navigate a world full of smartphones and credit cards, and he totally kills it.
