Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly have reached a milestone in their careers, and Yellowstone fans are celebrating the news.
In late February, the Critics Choice Association announced the nominees for its third annual Critics Choice Super Awards. While the award honored “fan-favorite genres in TV and film” such as “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Stranger Things”, both Kevin and Kelly are recognized for their work on the Paramount Network show. According to the official press release, Kevin has been nominated for Best Actor in an Action Series, Limited Series or Made-for-TV Movie, while Kelly has been nominated for Best Actress in an Action Series, Limited Series or TV Movie.
The show congratulated them on their official Instagram after breaking the news of their exciting nominations. “Congratulations @kevincostnermodernwest and @mzkellyreilly on your @criticschoice Super Award nominations! #YellowstoneTV,” the caption read on Feb. 25, along with a photo of characters John and Beth Dutton.

But this hit drama wasn’t the only television father-daughter duo’s acting recognition. Kevin posted his own announcement on Instagram the same day, expressing his gratitude.
“Thank you to the @ccsuperawards for the nomination 🤠,” he wrote.
It didn’t take long for Yellowstone fans to post heartfelt messages on social media when both Kevin and Kelly were recognized for their work on the Taylor Sheridan-led series.
“Congrats! Truly hope they both win! Very deserving! About time Yellowstone and the actors are getting the recognition they deserve!” one person wrote on the show’s Instagram comments section. “About time Hollywood recognize these amazing actors. This show and crew have been shunned for way too long. Well deserved,” another agreed. “Congratulations to both Kelly and Kevin they both deserve to win and I’m sure this will be the year they take the award home ❤️,” a different user added.
Kevin and Kelly’s recent nominations only add to the success of their work at Yellowstone over the past five years. As viewers may know, Kevin recently won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of the Dutton patriarch. Although he wasn’t able to attend the ceremony in person, he shared his reaction on TikTok when he received the trophy.
