General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Trina told Cyrus all about himself, Esme asked for a favor, and Liz spend some quality time with Finn. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital: Deadly Family

Things went off the rails when TJ (Tajh Bellow) checked on Mason (Nathanyael Gray). The baddie demanded more drugs, which TJ promptly declined. Mason didn’t like hearing the word “no” and went on quite a tirade. His tantrum led TJ to the startling realization that Mason was the man who kidnapped and tortured him!

TJ ran right to Jordan (Tanisha Harper) with the revelation. She believed him, of course, but couldn’t do anything about it. His word simply was not enough. She needed proof. TJ was understandably upset.

Back at the hospital, Austin (Roger Howarth) demanded to know what Mason told the cops. Mason toyed with him and claimed he put Austin on the hook as a co-conspirator…just kidding. He hadn’t. Not yet, anyway. But, he was absolutely, definitely planning to. If he goes down, Austin does too.

Austin was having none of that. He closed all the blinds, put on a pair of gloves, shut off the machines, and grabbed himself a pillow. He then proceeded to try and smother the life out of Mason. It was at that exact moment TJ returned. He noticed the blinds were down, took a peek and saw exactly what Austin was doing.

General Hospital Recap: All Apologies

Over at the Invader, Laura (Genie Francis) praised Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) for being the best secretary ever before chatting alone with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). The women talked about Esme, Ace, and the search for Nikolas. Laura updated that Nik was alive and moving money around but that he definitely did not want to be found.

Talk then turned to Cyrus and his freedom from prison. Laura was upset her dangerous brother was back running the streets. All she could do was hope he was actually a changed man, and this wasn’t all an act. Outside the door, Esme listened to every word.

Esme interrupted the meeting, and once Laura was gone, she asked Alexis for a favor — a raise. She needed to gain her independence and move out. Alexis pressed her for a reason, so she confessed that she was developing feelings for Spencer.

As for Cyrus, he dared to show his face at the gallery. He claimed to be there to see Ava (Maura West) but took full advantage of having Trina (Tabyana Ali) alone. She was not having it. She laid into him like never before and unleashed a torrent of fury.

Spencer arrived to find Trina screaming at his great-uncle. Cyrus was more than pleased to see him. He even tried to use his proximity to Spencer (and protecting him in the slammer) to his advantage. Once again, Trina was not having it. She ripped into him and told him to get out and leave her alone, or else.

GH Recap: Romance Rising

Meanwhile, Joss (Eden McCoy) huddled up in her dorm with Adam (Joshua Benard) for a study session. He teased her about her point form notes before getting down to business. Just as they were about to break, Dex (Evan Hofer) showed up, much to Joss’s delight. The couple took off to dock Sonny’s boat, leaving Adam to hide how much he was huffing and puffing.

Over in Brattleboro, Vermont, Finn (Michael Easton) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) settled into the cabin and headed to the trees. They had a very important mission — tapping the maples and gathering syrup. Liz took to the task well, but Finn didn’t have such an easy time. In the end, it was all about the fun, and they headed back to make dinner. Things progressed as they washed Liz’s hands.
