Calendar Girls actress Helen Mirren showed off her playful side, as she strode onto the red carpet of the Ora! Film Festival in Italy wearing a sparkling pink maxi dress, accessorised with elegant slip-on shoes.
Helen Mirren, 77, looked radiant as she posed for pictures outside of the Italian Ora! Film Festival.
Never one to shy away from a daring red carpet moment, the actress opted to dazzle in a fluorescent pink maxi dress.
The gown featured a crew neckline, a sheer bodice and flared long sleeves.
Mirren’s waist was cinched by a string of glittering sequins, while the loose silhouette of the skirt oozed elegance.
Throughout the pink number, large mirrored sequins were sewn around pearls, as well as minuscule sparkling beads.
To accessorise, the Shazam! star opted to slip into open-toed flat shoes.
She also added large silver hooped earrings and a matching pink headband to complete the look.
Later, she was photographed sporting a pair of oversized black cat-eye sunglasses, while adding a silver watch to her left wrist.
After dyeing her hair a dramatic shade of blue for the 76th Cannes Film Festival last month, Helen’s long locks were returned to their natural silver tone for the Italian event.
Helen pushed her hair back from her face, adding a youthful twist.
Helen was at the film festival yesterday (Saturday 3 June) promoting her new Paramount+ series, 1923.
The Oscar winner stars in the Yellowstone spin-off as the Dutton family matriarch, Cara Dutton, opposite co-star Harrison Ford.
The cast for the drama also includes Brandon Sklenar and Julia Schlaepfer.
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Mirren, who attended the opening night of Cannes Film Festival last month to celebrate the premiere of Jeanne du Barry.
On the red carpet, she donned a figure-hugging light blue frock which featured a plunging neckline and fitted long sleeves.
She accessorised the stunning evening gown with a diamond necklace and matching drop earrings from Bulgari.
She also came equipped with a pair of rounded sunglasses, and a small silver clutch bag that featured a pearl strap.
To walk the red carpet, she stepped out in a pair of platform heels and had her hair pinned up in an elaborate style by L’Oreal Paris.
