The “Heart Like a Truck” singer stepped out on the red carpet at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday, Sept. 28 with her signature fashion on full display. Wilson, 31, was dressed in head-to-toe sequins, wearing a cropped silver tie-in-the-front top paired with matching silver form-fitting pants that flared out at the bottom.

The Yellowstone actress accessorized with tons of layered jewelry, including a gold belt made up of dangling heart and cross emblems. The country star couldn’t forget her cowgirl hat, of course, which featured a sparkly sequin strap wrapped around it.

Hosted by popular country group Little Big Town, Thursday night’s ceremony marked the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards, which is an expansion of the People’s Choice Awards.

Heading into the evening, Wilson was nominated in several different categories for the brand new awards show, including the biggest award of the night: the People’s Artist of 2023. The country songstress was nominated by other A-listers like Blake Shelton, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Old Dominion and Zach Bryan.

She was also nominated twice in the category for the Collaboration Song of 2023, both for the HARDY track, and for her collab with Jelly Roll on their song “Save Me.”

Early in the awards show, Wilson was named the winner of the Female Artist prize. In her acceptance speech, Wilson shouted out her fans, applauding their fun fashion at her concerts.
